Mold Making

One of our most respected services at Sure Form Prototyping is producing high quality production molds. These molds resist deterioration and provide higher quality castings for years. You can bring your piece to us or we can come to you. Specialty and rush services are available for your last minute mold and casting needs.

Mold repair services are also available.

Resin Casting & Assembly

Provide your foundry, wax chasers or metal workers with a high quality resin casting to assist them in producing each edition of your bronze. We can provide castings from our molds or yours. Discounts can apply if we have created the mold.

 

 

 

 

 

Hand Painted Gallery Models (pre-bronze)

Pre-sell your work with a hand painted gallery model. We will provide you with a high quality resin, hand painted to duplicate your finished bronze (non-traditional patinas are also available). Put this in your gallery, studio or home for permanent display or until your bronze casting is completed.

Learn how to make you own molds and castings. Michael Knapek has years of mold making and fine art foundry experience. He has condensed this knowledge into an intense 7 day course. He can tell you what to expect in your bronze casting endeavors.

• Make a high quality mold.
• Create a gallery display model to duplicate a bronze.
• Photograph it professionally.
• Create marketing material including show brochures, handouts and even a web site.
• If you are ready to create a bronze, we can drop off your new mold at the foundry for completion and monitor the entire process to ensure a high quality casting. Quality control will be completed on the wax, bronze and patina.
